    May 21, 2019 | Teamsters Local 355 officers, staff and members are mourning the sudden loss of Jim Deene, a business agent for Teamsters Local 355 in Baltimore, Md., who passed away suddenly on May 17, 2019. Deene began his Teamster career as a driver for U.S. Foodservice. He served as a Local 355 shop steward from 1997 until 2002, when he became a business agent for the Local.

There were five Teamsters that took home 1st place trophies, Donald Wood, Ricky Lucas, Kirk Weis, & Joseph Carrillo from ABF and Mike Johnson from YRC. These skilled Teamsters from New Mexico are all headed to the 2019 National Truck Driving Championships in Pittsburg Pennsylvania.
